Bitcoin’s on-chain activity has dropped sharply since the 2021 peak, yet the underlying structure of the market suggests maturation rather than deterioration. According to data shared by Santiment, daily unique BTC wallets interacting on the network have declined by roughly 42% over the past five years, while new wallet creation has fallen by approximately 47%.
