Ethereum developers have committed Frame Transactions, or EIP-8141, to the planned Hegotá upgrade in 2027. The feature could let applications or other accounts pay transaction fees for users. It also introduces bundled actions and more flexible authorization options, potentially making Ethereum easier to use without requiring every wallet to hold ETH.
