Strategy and Blackrock's IBIT now control a combined 1.653 million bitcoin worth roughly $140.82 billion, nearly 8% of the network's absolute 21 million supply ceiling. The two piles are almost the same size, but that's where the resemblance ends. Strategy operates a corporate treasury, while IBIT's bitcoin backs shares in an exchange-traded fund (ETF) trust.
