The SEC has approved a Cboe Options Exchange rule amendment allowing listed options on the WisdomTree Bitcoin Fund, opening another regulated derivatives route around a U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF. The approval applies to options on BTCW, not to the underlying spot Bitcoin ETF itself.
